In the OLDEN DAYS telephones were sturdy enough to be used as bludgeoning weapons in lethal hand-to-hand combat, a computer occupied several LARGE ROOMS and could only be operated by SCIENTISTS, and music was pressed into wax discs and required the PHYSICAL CONTACT of a needle to play. Fast forward was achieved by stamping on the floor.
